datalakehousehub.com is a personal, non-commercial reference site run by Alex Merced. It has no user accounts and no newsletter form, and it does not sell or share personal information.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views, see which articles are read, and see which outbound links are clicked. Advertising features (ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization) are turned off for every visitor.

  • Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see a consent choice. Analytics cookies are not set unless you accept.
  • Analytics runs only on datalakehousehub.com itself, not on mirror or alias domains.
  • You can withdraw consent by clearing this site’s local storage and cookies in your browser, or block analytics with any standard content blocker.

Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Comments

Comments on articles use Giscus, which stores them as GitHub Discussions in a public repository. To comment you sign in with GitHub, and your comment and GitHub username are public under GitHub’s privacy statement. Reading articles does not require signing in.

Hosting

The site is a static website hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify receives standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the service.

Articles link to other sites (for example Luma event pages, YouTube, GitHub, and vendor documentation). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which apply once you follow a link.
